Samuel J. Williams


Sam was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1983. He worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida where he prosecuted felonies, misdemeanors and DUI offenses. He then joined his father’s practice in New Port Richey, Florida, where he continued to specialize in criminal law. His father, Richard C. Williams, remained of counsel to Sam’s practice until 2006. In 1994 Sam was board-certified by the Florida Bar in Criminal Trial Law. He has been lead counsel in excess of 100 jury trials, ranging from misdemeanors and DUI to First Degree Murder Charges. Over the years he has established a strong relationship with his colleagues, prosecutors, judges and court staff. These relationships have been critical in helping him advocate for, and achieve, the best results for his clients.

    Valerie S. Williams


    Valerie was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1985. She practiced in Norwalk, Connecticut with the law firm of Devine & Devine for 10 months before marrying Sam Williams and moving to Florida. Valerie was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986 and practiced as an Assistant State Attorney in the Fifth Judicial Circuit for two years. She then clerked for the Circuit Court Judges in Dade City, Florida, part-time while starting a family. Val joined Sam’s practice in 1996, and assists on all matters including criminal, probate, wills, research and writing, and office management.
